The Al-Ferdaws Mosque serves as a place of worship, an Arabic language school, and a gathering place for the Muslim community in Basel—in the Dreispitz neighborhood, right in the heart of the city.

Alferdaw's Mosque
The Islamic Cultural Foundation BS was established in Basel in 2009. Its main objectives are to serve Islam and the Muslim community in Basel and throughout Switzerland.
The purpose of the foundation is to establish and operate a mosque with 150 places as well as an Arabic school, and to promote Islamic culture and support Muslims in practicing their religion, particularly in the Basel region.
